ESPN Sport Science: Coaching Stress

ESPN Sport Science measured the physiological responses of Michigan State University’s head men’s basketball coach, Tom Izzo to determine the level of stress coaches endure during a game.

The results are interesting, including a body temperature that reaches 100 degrees and an average heart rate that is equivalent to that of a marathon runner.
